There are a great many places that hold a lot of history in respect to our country and our heritage. However, the ever growing population needs more room to grow, and with land scarce, builders are moving in on sacred sites. Not only do we have less historical value in our environment, we have less environment to give away to low-cost housing for increasing populations.
This site will explain the procedure for making something a landmark, how to best preserve a site, and the funding that it takes to keep up a landmark. We also want to let people know there is value to old homes, as well as new ones. We don’t always have to tear something down or build a new one to make it better.
The environment around us and how we treat it is superior to our further existence in once place or another. For every tree we knock down another one should be put up in it’s place. We need to encourage our environment and habitats to co-exist with our populated areas.
There are also sacred sites that are built in memory of a person, event, or time period. These memorials take planning, the proper architecture skills, and again the funding to maintain and build them. Sacred Sites is a site that allows readers to review the landmarks and monuments that currently stand, the ones that are soon to be recognized, and what organizations made contributions to keep them that way.
